The Raiders re-signed guard Mo Collins on Wednesday, May 7, 2003. Reaching an agreement required Collins' agent, Brantley Evans, who enabled Collins to receive a respectable deal. Collins agreed to a six-year, $17.5 million contract that included a $400,000 signing bonus. This deal also includes the chance to earn a $2.5 million option bonus in 2005 if he remains in shape and keeps his weight at optimum level. Collins was a first-round draft choice of Oakland in 1998.
